Dermal Fillers for Cheeks
Most parts of your face will lose volume over time. This is the visible result of the gradual loss of collagen and subcutaneous fat caused by the ageing process.
Among the areas where the process is most visible is the cheeks. To help you deal with the undesired effects of an ageing cheekbone area, Juvea Aesthetics offers a variety of dermal filler injections for cheeks.
Book a consultation with our qualified practitioners to have your suitability for treatment assessed. The range of treatment options available will be discussed, and we will suggest the best treatment for your needs. Allow your cheeks to look full and healthy once again.

Areas that can be treated
Sagging, thinning and sunken cheeks can benefit from the injection of a carefully selected, naturally-derived injectable. Following a prior assessment during your consultation, our practitioners will target the areas best for you with a hyaluronic acid-based filler.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the dermal layer of your skin, so the risk of allergic reactions is very low. By adding nutrients and volume into this deep skin layer, the filler makes the skin appear more youthful.
Above the dermis, the visible skin layer, the epidermis, will not only look fuller, but also smoother. This is because the marks left by wrinkles and lines will be filled from below, making them less visible when your face is relaxed. Dermal fillers may be combined with a range of other treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and chemical peels to help you look your best, these will be discussed with you by your practitioner during your consultation.
FAQ
How many injections will I need to keep my cheeks plump and toned over time?
To maintain your desired look over time, we suggest having a repeat dermal filler injection once every 6 to 10 months, as the effects are only temporary.
Are there any side effects I should be aware of?
All treatments have the potential to cause side effects and complications. Dermal fillers may cause allergic reactions, although these are very unlikely using hyaluronic fillers, and interruption of the blood supply to the treated area. Less serious complications include discolouration, bruising, scarring, and infection. All of these can be treated and a full course of aftercare will be provided by Juvea Aesthetics.
Will the injection be painful?
To help you enjoy a more comfortable injection, we offer fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, which contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic. Generally speaking, the injections can cause some minor pain, which is usually well tolerated and resolves in a short period of time.
