Dermal fillers can be injected in different areas around your mouth to treat wrinkles. The main ones are lipstick lines, marionette lines and parentheses lines.

Lipstick lines originate vertically at the edge of both lips, and are more visible above the upper lip. They are called lipstick lines because lipstick bleeds into them when applied, creating an unsightly appearance and annoyance. These lines may also be called smokers’ lines.

Marionette lines are those appear at both corners of the mouth and run towards the chin. Their shape tends to give you an unwanted sad or angry look.
